Request IDs and reporting a problem
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Every request gets one ID that links it to the organization, project, key, model and the deployment that served it.
Where to find it
In the API response.
In the request log in the Developer Platform. Copy details for support copies the request ID, time, outcome and diagnostic fields, without content or secrets.
What to send when something goes wrong
One or more request IDs, or your own client reference if you set one.
The time window in UTC.
The model or deployment.
The error code and message, if any.
What you expected and what happened.
What you have already tried.
Do not send API keys, passwords or prompt content. Support does not need them and cannot read prompts.
